Network Cube Outdoor – Modular
Making Flexibility Simple
The Network Cube Outdoor Modular combines the advantages of 19" and outdoor passive optical multiplexing solutions as it uses the exact same WDM modules. The NCO Modular is available for NCX modules or the HUBER+SUHNER IANOS cable management cassettes. In both cases the modules can be inserted into the Network Cube Outdoor Modular enclosure or the respective 19" chassis. The self-locking mechanism of the NCX modules and the IANOS cassettes make for a fast and tool-less installation.
NCO Modular – KEY FEATURES
Easy Access
The tilting mechanism for the inserted modules makes for an easy access to every connection, even with 3 IANOS cassettes.
Cable Inlets with Strain Relief
The 16 water and dust resistant cable inlets are based on 8 dual split grommets. Each cable inlet has a bracket to add a strain relief.
Small Form Factor
Despite the feature richness, the NCO Modular has a very small footprint. The dimensions are merely 13.1cm x 33.1cm x 4.75cm (H x W x D).
Network Cube Outdoor – Slice
Making Accessibility Simple
The Network Cube Outdoor Slice is an innovative new design that combines scalability and accessibility in an outdoor enclosure. The basic principle is a hinged slice concept. This means that the module can be made up of one or up to four slices which can be mounted together and due to the hinges opened at any slice. The slices are the passive optical multiplexers and a full range of CWDM and DWDM modules is available. Alternatively, a splice slice is available to terminate the fiber cables.
NCO Slice – KEY FEATURES
Easy Access
To access the individual slices, merely the brackets to the slice in question need to be loosened and the slice opens like a book.
Scalability
The NCO Slice is modular. A configuration can be anything from one to four slices and the slices can be added at any given time.
Small Form Factor
A single slice of the NCO Slice has a very small footprint. The dimensions are merely 12.0 x 29.7cm x 2.6cm (H x W x D).
